KreadoAI Video Quality Enhancement: Upscale Your Videos to 1080P and Beyond

KreadoAI Smart Canvas now includes Video Quality Enhancement. Upscale existing footage to 1080P, 2K, 4K, or 8K, and see what the update delivers.

KreadoAI has added Video Quality Enhancement to AI Smart Canvas. The feature is built for footage you already have: upload the file, raise it to 1080P, 2K, 4K, or 8K, and keep the original edit and audio intact.

For advertising and landing-page work, that distinction matters. Most placements now treat 1080P as the baseline. The clip that already performs is often a phone take or an AI draft — acceptable on a small screen, visibly soft once it moves to a larger surface. The usual responses are to reshoot or to generate again. This update is meant to sit between those two options.

What’s new

Video Quality Enhancement is not a second image to video path. It processes a file you have already shot or already generated.

Two modes cover different source conditions. Standard is the lighter pass, for footage that is already fairly clean and only needs a modest lift. AI Enhancement (Professional) runs a heavier model, and is the better match for compressed phone footage or AI grain.

Resolution and frame rate are set independently. Output can be 1080P, 2K, 4K, or 8K. Target frame rate ranges from 15 to 120 FPS. Several files can share one board, and analysis, edit, extend, and video translation remain on the same canvas. The point is to sharpen a video without sending it to a separate upscaler.

If you are new to the board itself, how to use AI Smart Canvas for ad creatives covers the workspace. Product stills remain a different job and should still go through the AI image upscaler for ecommerce.

How the results look

We ran the new action on three skincare videos: an 18-second 720P phone unboxing, a 1080P talking-head that looked soft as a 4K landing-page loop, and a 9:16 AI draft. The brief was the same in each case. Framing, timing, and audio should not change.

From 720P unboxing to 1080P with AI Enhancement

The first case is the clearest demonstration. The source is a vertical, handheld unboxing with the label in frame, already running as a paid clip. After the professional pass, the type on the bottle is readable and the pump head no longer flickers. The story is unchanged.

A soft 1080P hero loop, cleaned with Standard

The second file was already 1080P and still looked soft on a large display. Standard was enough for a website hero: the glass and liquid held together, and the result looked stable on a 27-inch monitor. On a 65-inch loop it still went slightly waxy. We would not replace a native 4K recapture on a trade-show wall with this export.

The AI draft gained cleaner edges. It did not become live-action footage. If the original cap was warped, 4K only makes that warp easier to see.

There is a hard ceiling. A heavily compressed 480P story will not become a true 8K commercial. Reviews in this category repeat the same limit — Morphed’s August 2026 upscaler roundup is a typical example. Below 480P, there is not enough detail to rebuild. Start from the strongest source you have.

Where it fits in production

On paid social, a 720P phone or UGC clip can move to 1080P. Meta still expects at least 1080 pixels on the short side. Unless there is a specific reason to change it, 30 FPS remains the sensible default. Raising a shaky handheld clip to 120 FPS mainly makes the shake more visible.

On landing pages, a soft 1080P loop should start in Standard. Move to 2K or 4K only when the page actually plays at that size.

For AI drafts that are about to ship, lock the cut first. If the version you will traffic is a translated one, run enhancement after video translation. Enhancing twice is wasted work.

The working path is short. Open Smart Canvas, upload the file, choose Quality Enhancement, set the mode and output, then review the result at normal speed. Check labels, hair, and on-screen type. Export if the file is ready, or stay on the board for the next edit.

FAQ

Can I enhance a video I already have, or do I have to generate a new one?

You can enhance a video you already have. Upload it to Smart Canvas and choose Quality Enhancement. The original edit is preserved. Generating a new clip is a separate tool.

What is the difference between Standard and AI Enhancement?

Standard is the lighter pass, intended for footage that is already fairly clean. AI Enhancement (Professional) uses a heavier model to recover detail. Choose Standard when the source is decent; choose AI Enhancement when it is soft, heavily compressed, or AI-generated.

What resolutions can KreadoAI output?

1080P, 2K, 4K, and 8K, depending on the mode and the source file. For most 720P social clips, 1080P is sufficient. Use 4K or 8K only when both the display and the source can support it.

Can I process several videos at once?

Yes. Upload multiple files to the same Smart Canvas board and run Quality Enhancement on the set, so a campaign stays on a consistent spec.

Will enhancement change the story, timing, or audio?

It should not. The feature changes quality — resolution, detail, and optionally frame rate — not the narrative. Review the export once at normal speed and confirm lips, labels, and voiceover.

What frame rates are supported?

Target frame rate ranges from 15 to 120 FPS. For social UGC, 30 FPS is usually appropriate. Increasing the frame rate on shaky handheld footage rarely improves the ad.

Where do I find Video Quality Enhancement in KreadoAI?

In AI Smart Canvas, after you upload a video. Choose Quality Enhancement on that clip rather than starting a new generate.

The update is most useful on a video you already trust. A weak source will not become an 8K commercial. A strong source sitting at the wrong delivery spec is the case this feature was built for.
